Can we keep our existing phone numbers?
Yes. We handle the number porting process from your current carrier. Your business numbers transfer over to the new system so your clients never need to dial anything different. Porting typically takes 1–2 weeks and we manage the entire process — you just let us know what numbers you want to keep.
Do our employees need new desk phones?
Not necessarily. If you have compatible IP phones, we can reprovision them for the new system. If you're starting fresh or upgrading hardware, we'll recommend the right desk phones for your team and handle the procurement and setup. Employees can also use a PC softphone or mobile app instead of a physical phone — whichever works best for how they work.
What's the call quality like compared to traditional phones?
On a properly configured network with adequate internet bandwidth, cloud VoIP call quality is equal to or better than traditional phone lines. HD voice is standard. The key is making sure your network is set up correctly — we assess your internet connection and network configuration as part of the setup process to make sure VoIP traffic is prioritized properly.
What happens to our phones if the internet goes down?
We configure failover routing so calls automatically forward to mobile phones or another number if your internet connection drops. For businesses where phone uptime is critical, we can also discuss backup internet options. Either way, you won't just go dark — there's always a fallback in place.
How long does the setup take?
